This U-shaped bake heating element -- model #: WB44T10010 – is a replacement part for many GE ovens that aren’t producing heat.
An electric oven’s heating element coil is generally found at the bottom of the oven cavity. A malfunctioning heating element will often produce little or no heat.
WARNING: To avoid a risk of electrical shock, before replacing the bake heating element, you must unplug the range or shut off the circuit breaker to the unit. To avoid a risk of burn, make sure that the range is off, and the unit’s heating element is cool to the touch.
